The Incoming Kindergarten Parent Information meeting originally scheduled for 2/25 has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Richard Mann Elementary School. Congratulations to.... Twelve fifth grade students from Richard Mann who participated in the 2010 Wayne County Music Educators Association Solo Festival on Saturday, Feb. 6th. The following students received outstanding ratings at the festival: Amelia Horsford (Perfect score, trumpet); Melissa Camp (alto sax) and Ben Stone (bassoon). The balance of the students earned ratings of Excellent or Good, inlcuding Alina Mueller (flute); Tom Keenan, (oboe); Sara Stoner (clarinet); Caitlin Donnelly (clarinet); Jacob Thomas (clarinet); Tess Gibala-Broxholm (clarinet); Kaitlyn Forshay (clarinet); Hailey Forshay (alto sax); and Caroline White (trumpet). Congratulations to all of our wonderfully talented students! Congratulations to.... All of the students who participated in the Annual Gananda Spelling Bee on February 6, 2010 at our high school auditorium. We had 20 students participate in the event. Evan Greindl (7th grade) took first place with the correct spelling of the word "sardine". The second place winner was Justin Rooney (6th grade). Griffin Knight (4th grade) and Alizabeth York (4th grade) tied for the "Alternate" position. Evan and Justin will represent our District at the Wayne-Finger Lakes Regional Spelling Bee to be held on March 20, 2010 at Hobart and William Smith Campus in Geneva, NY. Congratulations to all of you. Great job!
