Gananda Central School District seeks nominations for the Athletic Hall of Fame.  Any individual can nominate a potential candidate by completing a Hall of Fame nomination application.  Applications may be picked up at the Athletic Office located at the High School or online at www.gananda.org   Nominations are due by: May 1st   Through nomination and committee selection, the Gananda Athletic Hall of Fame will recognize individuals who have contributed in any of the following categories:   Athlete - Individuals who were athletes in the Gananda Central School District and have been graduated a minimum of ten years.   Coach - Individuals who have made significant contributions to the Gananda Athletic programs.   Administrator/Honoree - Individuals who have made a significant impact  on Gananda athletics or contributed to athletics on a sectional, regional, state, national, professional or international level.                 Inductees will be chosen by the Gananda Hall of Fame Committee, which is comprised of nine voting members.  All committee terms shall be for three years:
§   Chair of Coaches Council §   Two current coaches §   Athletic Director	Two At-Large Community Members Two Alumni Varsity Club Advisor
If any of the Committee positions are already filled by the Chair of Coaches Council, than the Assistant Chair to Coaches Council shall fill that spot.   The Hall of Fame was established in order to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of outstanding athletes, coaches, administrators and Blue Panthers supporters.  Through recognition, those individuals and their families will be reconnected with the Gananda Central School District and provide current students and athletes with an understanding and appreciation for the positive role models in the tradition of Gananda athletes.   Honorees selected for the biannual Athletic Hall of Fame will be announced at Homecoming each year along with a planned reception.  Varsity Club will provide each honoree with a plaque that will be displayed in the High School and pay for their attendance at the reception.   For more information on the Athletic Hall of Fame program, please contact the Gananda Director of Athletics at 315-986-3521 ext 3224.
