Assignment for Global Issues- Research the country assigned and prepare a slide show and report in which you give the following:

Location (with maps) and capital
Identify leaders and the form of government
Explain why the country is in conflict in some detail (some historical background)
Who is affected by the conflict, and to what extent?
What are the prospects for resolving the conflict, and who is working on the solution?

You become the expert on this country. Use your slide show to illustrate your report, and the written report to fill in the details. Do not plan to just read from slides for your report.

DON'T FORGET YOUR WORKS CITED LIST

You will be graded according to the Gananda Works Cited Rubric. Remember - you must have at least the minimum number of sources (4 sources - 1 encyclopedia, 1 book, 1 online database, 1 web site). To get a superior grade, you must have MORE than the minimum.(At least 5 sources - 1 encyclopedia, 1 book, 1 online database, 1 web site).
