Your job is to complete the homework assigned each night.  Please hand in your work each morning (Tuesday- Friday) when Mrs. Monroe greets you. 

READING:  You should read each night for at least 10 minutes and write in your reading log or fill out an entry on the Blog on our class webpage.  Your writing should be one of the topics in the front of your Reading Log, or on the directions for the Blog.  If you are reading a chapter book (which everyone should be) then you should read at least 1 chapter a night....don't just stop at 10 minutes!

MATH:  You will have a math worksheet each night that relates to the lesson we did during the day.  If you are stuck on this assignment you can view the lesson again on https://www.pearsonsuccessnet.com/snpapp/login/login.jsp  where you can log in with the information I gave you earlier this year.

SPELLING:  Each night you need to complete a spelling assignment using all of the spelling words for the week (even challenge words).  You can choose any assignment from our Spelling Contract to do.  You may not repeat an assignment during the same week though, for example doing flashcards 2 nights.  If you do an an assignment like flashcards or play a game on Spelling City please write me a note and tell me that you did that assignment and hand it in with your homework. 

The directions are on each activity, and should be completed to acceptable third grade standards, including whole name, date and assignment on each page.  If you have any questions you may ask me in class.  Good luck and have funJ!
