About the Board of Education

Consisting of six volunteer members, the Gananda Board of Education serves to represent the community and is the governing body of the District. Board members serve without pay and are elected by the voters of the district for a term of three years. The board oversees the education of students and is responsible for school district operations, but does not directly run the district’s day-to-day operations. The Board’s focus is on the district vision, goals and policies.
