Five Year Strategic Plan
Gananda Central School District underwent a five-year strategic planning process in conjunction with PLC Associates, Inc. to set forth actionable items for the district through 2021. The process began in early February 2016 with the gathering of volunteers from administrative staff, students, board members, and members of the community. A survey was sent out in February 2016 to gain a better understanding of the perceptions of the district including strengths and weaknesses.
The information shared from the survey results has been analyzed and put into categories to derive an action plan for the district. Small task forces were assigned to various categories to create a plan to achieve actionable results. The plan was rolled-out in January 2017.
The three areas of focus selected for the task groups include:
- Student Academic Achievement
- Student Experience
- Family and Community Engagement
