Smart Schools Supplemental Investment Plan - 2020-2021 School Year

 
In November 2014, state voters approved funding of $794,133 for a Smart Schools initiative.  From August 2015 until May 2016, the District's Technology Committee met to review the current state of technology use at Gananda Central Schools.  In their review, they also established goals and future needs of technology throughout the district.  Once their review was complete, they presented a preliminary plan for the Smart Schools Bond Act in order to obtain funding from New York State for technology upgrades.  Districts are allowed to submit for approved funds multiple times.
 
In 2017-2018, the District used $308,159 of the approved funding.
 
In 2019, the District has identified the following technology needs for the 2020-2021 School Year.

The School Board has approved the Supplemental Submission Preliminary Investment Plan at the December 11, 2019 Working Board Session.  Final approval of the plan would leave a remaining balance of $368,277 for future use.
