Verizon Mobile Hotspot Program - Internet Access at Home
As we prepare and plan for the school year, we want to make sure that you are aware of the Verizon Mobile Hotspot Program that we offer for our students in need of internet service. This program provides a device for students that do not have access to the internet at their residence or who may have limited access to internet connectivity.
A student in need of the internet can sign out a Verizon Mobile Hotspot MiFi Device from Gananda CSD for the duration of the school year. The device will ensure that our students have the tools they need to receive and participate in instruction, complete assignments, etc. as it relates to their education provided by Gananda CSD. There is no cost to the student/family.
If your student is in need of a Hotspot device, please contact the technology department [email protected]. The Technology Department will make the necessary arrangements to provide your student with a device on the first day of school.
For those students attending summer school that need internet access, please request a device prior to the start of the school year and a Verizon Mobile Hotspot will be provided at the start of the summer program.
PLEASE NOTE: The Mobile Hotspot is set up with restricted access, allowing only the student’s district issued device to connect.
