The 36th Annual Macedon Center Community Lumberjack Festival will feature 2 days of professional lumberjack competition by the New York State Lumberjack Association, including competitors from the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Series. Events include 2 man crosscut, springboard chop, hot saw, men's and women's standing block, a Jack and Jill relay plus many others. Competition starts at 10 AM on Saturday and 10 AM on Sunday.

After the completion of events on Sunday we will have our second year of a tug-of-war contest with 3 divisions (men's, women's and co-ed teams). Entry forms are on the fire department website (http://macedoncenterfire.org).

Also featured is a display of arts and craft vendors and displays from local equipment vendors.

A lumberjack breakfast is served both days: Saturday 7 AM - 11 AM and Sunday 8 AM - Noon.

Admission is: Adults - $3.00, Seniors - $2.00, children 6 to 14- $1.00 and under 5 - Free.
