Bus Drivers for Athletic Events & Extracurricular Activities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide students safe and efficient transportation to and from athletic events and/or extracurricular
activities.

Obeys all traffic laws
Observes all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
Maintains discipline when students are on bus.
Reports misbehaving students to the proper authority.
Keeps assigned bus clean.
Keeps to assigned schedule.
Notifies the proper authority in case of/or suspected mechanical failure.
Discharges students only at authorized stops.
Exercises responsible leadership when on out-of-district school trips.
Transports only authorized students.
Reports all accidents and completes required reports.
Enforces regulations against smoking and eating on the bus.
Various other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Makes recommendations on establishing bus route change.
Valid license to drive.
Mandatory fingerprint clearance.
Health and age requirements as required by the State Education Department and Board of Education

Number of Days - Varies

Daily Hours - Varies depending on activity.
