Richard Mann Elementary's Spring Concert, held on Wednesday, May 9, kicks off the district's Spring Concert season. The fourth grade chorus, led by Mrs. Strausser, began the evening with a calypso song entitled, "Shake the Papaya Down." After a series of songs, the fourth graders finished their set with a fun tune entitled, "Ham It Up" by J. Jacobson and J. Higgins. The fifth grade band, directed by Mrs. Logan, then took to the stage to play various numbers including, "Name Those Tunes" and "You're A Grand Old Flag". Next was the fifth grade chorus, led by Mrs. Witter, with songs such as, "Song of Peace", "Thoughts of Home", and "Bubble Trouble" to name a few. Congratulations to all of our performers on a job well done!
Catch our other talented students in the Middle School Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 15 or the High School Spring Concert and Arts Festival on Thursday, May 24. Both concerts will be held at Ruben A. Cirillo High School beginning at 7pm.
