Gananda Middle and High School Students to Participate in Evalumetrics Youth Survey

Gananda Central School District is pleased to announce we have been selected to participate in the 2019 Evalumetrics Youth Survey. This survey of 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th grade students is designed to improve our understanding of the risk and protective factors impacting the environment around our young people. The survey is sponsored by the Wayne County Partnership for Strengthening Families (WCPSF), a group with which we are working to build healthier communities. The 2013, 2015, and 2017 surveys have been used to demonstrate the need and planning capacity required to access over $35 million in competitive grant funds for Wayne County. It is through the survey and partnership with WCPSF that Gananda Central School District has been able to further access Wayne County Behavior Health for student needs, and provide training seminars for staff through Delphi Classroom Instruction.
The data gathered will continue the partnerships between our schools and the community agencies to help maintain and improve youth development efforts.  The surveys are completely voluntary and anonymous in nature. Gananda Central School District  and the WCPSF will use the results to plan better prevention efforts and services for our youth.
A copy of the survey is available for review upon request. Email WCPSF co-chair Jay Roscup at: for more information.
If you do not want your child to participate in the survey, please contact the main office of your child's school.
