NYS School Report Cards
The New York State Report Card provides information on school and district enrollment, staff, student performance, and other measures of school and district performance. Knowledge gained from the report card on a school's or district's strengths and weaknesses can be used to improve instruction and services to students.

| January 10, 2024 | BOE: Review rollover budget for the 2024-45 school year and debt service budget. | |
| February 1, 2024 | Budget Development Worksheets from budget builders due to the Business Office. | |
| February 1, 2024 | Governor's Proposal due-update revenue projections with current data. | |
| February 14, 2024 | Present 2024-25 preliminary budget forecast and budget assumptions to the Board of Education | |
| February 28, 2024 | Building / Department budgets are due to the Business Office. | |
| March 1, 2024 | Submit 2024-25 calculation for the tax levy limit to the Office of Controller, Tax and Finance and SED. | |
| March 13, 2024 | BOE: Review operational and general support budget. | |
| March 27, 2024 | BOE: Review instructional and special education budget. Current draft of the budget presented to Board of Education. | |
| April 5-8, 2024 | Legal notice of the school budget hearing and budget vote (must advertise four times within seven weeks of the vote with the first publication no later than 45 days before the date of the budget vote). | |
| April 11-20, 2023 | Create a tax report card. Finalize budget documents and the budget brochure | |
| April 20, 2024 | Coordinate blood drive with American Red Cross on May 21, 2024 | |
| April 10, 2024 | Final draft of budget presented to Board of Education. | |
| April 15, 2024 | The budget brochure and the budget notice sent to printer. | |
| April 22, 2024 | Last day to submit petitions for propositions to be placed on the ballot. | |
| April 24, 2024 | BOE: Approval of NYS Property Tax Report Card and the official budget document. Appointment of clerks and inspectors of elections for budget vote. | |
| April 29, 2024 | Property tax report card must be submitted to SED (within 24 hours of budget adoption, but no later than April 29, 2024). | |
| April 26, 2024 | Property Tax Report Card must be transmitted to local newspapers of general circulation. | |
| May 1-7, 2024 | The budget brochure and the budget binders are available at area businesses (7 days prior to the budget hearing). | |
| May 8, 2024 | Budget Hearing. The budget must be presented at the hearing in plain language and in 3 components: Administrative, Program, and Capital. |

| May 9, 2024 | The budget brochure and the budget notice mailed to residents (after the budget hearing but no later than six days prior to the vote). | |

| May 22, 2024 | BOE meeting to approve results. |
